CodeShutdown August 9, 2015 algae species compete for resources. The ones producing domoic acid, the neurotoxin, have an unusual ability to deal with heavy metals. Thus radiation may allow the more toxic algae to survive and bloom.

I see they have colored in the Sea of Cortez.
Why cut off the map there..?
So the water is warmer off of Alaska than California?
Maybe so as the radioactive makes it's way.
